Hi, I’m Molly!
I’m a career development and experiential education specialist living in Toronto.
Experience
Currently, I have the pleasure of working with students in the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies at York University on their journey to secure co-op opportunities. In my past role as a Career Services Officer at Western University, I supported students in Information and Media Studies with career exploration as well as securing and navigating work-integrated learning placements. I’ve also held contract roles as a sessional lecturer teaching online, in-person, and hy-flex courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate level.
Previously, I worked in marketing and communications for a decade – in roles where I developed content and led digital marketing efforts for a non-profit, two education technology companies, a creative agency and in a business school. My focus areas included business-to-business (B2B) sales enablement, content marketing, and product marketing.
Education
I hold a Master of Education in Higher Education from the University of Toronto, Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communication Studies and a Certificate in Writing from Western University and a Career Development Practitioner Post-Graduate Certificate from Fanshawe College.
Fan of hot beverages, friendly animals (and friendly robots), live music, Oxford commas, public transit, squash (the sport, not the vegetable), and walking everywhere.
